TECNinox is an Italian industry specialized in process systems in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors.
The Group - which constitutes an important technical hub with an international production activity - has commissioned Studiogusto to design and develop the new Corporate website, starting from the need to represent product assets with a new Tone of Voice.
Representing a complex pharmaceutical plant with freshness, but also with the most complete level of detail, represented the main focus of our planning as well as the greatest challenge.
We proposed the use of 3D and video to make the reading of a very complex and very technical asset more contemporary and digital.
The choice to eliminate the "stainless steel" texture and to use basic Clay is due to the major performance problems we encountered in the Modeling and Rendering phases: the complexity of the vertices and polygons of some systems would have required the support of super-computers not accessible in terms of cost, during the design.
Browsing from small displays certainly does not represent the most complete and interesting experience of the Brand's product catalogue.
Nonetheless, the project is absolutely usable from Smartphones and presents the same information as the Desktop version.
For these considerations, the Design and Development of the website did not follow Mobile-first principles and best practices; this point of view does not always represent the ideal solution for the project goal.
